How to Accurately Record ICE Activity

Remember the SALUTE method for reporting ICE sightings:

  • SIZE OF GROUP OF OFFICERS

  • ACTIons/ACTIVITY

    • What are they doing? Ex: Outside of cars, talking to each outher

  • LOCATION

    • Address or street names

  • UNIFORMS/CLOTHES

    • Ex: all black, ballistic vests that say DHS

  • TIME/DATE

  • EQUIPMENT/WEAPONS

    • Ex: 2 people with ip ties on belts, 4 arms, 2 black unmarked SUVs
